Threads of action that integrate: Leadership, Product Development, Innovation, and Methods, are holistic.  They produce knowledge (best-practices) and specific sustainable results. Contrarily, the generic large program approach produces information silos that are not lean.

Why? Conflict arises between the silos of the key areas due to differences of jargon, priorities, values, and "politics".  This energy dissipating conflict (waste) is a common occurrence in times of rapid information influx and change.
